A Luminous Halo

Word of the Day: Turophile

A turophile is a lover of cheese. I'm a turophile, I guess you could say.

A turophobe is one who hates or fears cheese. My daughter, who is a strict vegan, is certainly not afraid of cheese, but she avoids it completely, so I guess you could call her a turophobe.

A turophiliac, on the other hand, is one who has an abnormal fascination with cheese. Not so good for the arteries. Brian, are you listening??
