What I Had for Lunch Today: Scallion Pancakes and Stir-fry

Scallion pancakes are nothing but flour and water mixed to a runny batter, with lots of chopped scallions added. Pour thinly onto a hot greased skillet and cook well; turn and cook the other side. A simple dipping sauce is soy sauce, hot chili paste (Lan Chi!), and toasted sesame oil.

I also made a simple stir-fry of tofu, broccoli, and carrot, to which I added garlic, a spoonful of ginger syrup, and soy sauce. I garnished it with a drizzle of toasted sesame oil.
