A Luminous Halo

What I Had for Lunch Today: Pasta with Spinach and Sweet Potato Chips

This is what happens when you have too many cooks in the kitchen.

Donna wanted to cook pasta and cook spinach, and we couldn't agree on any of the other ingredients, so that's all we made. Plain boiled spaghetti and plain steamed fresh baby spinach. I think Donna poured bottled Italian dressing over hers. I jazzed mine up with tamari, toasted sesame oil and Lan Chi chili sauce with garlic, and garnished it with sweet potato chips. (I made the chips with a vegetable peeler and deep-fried them in my little Fry-daddy.) We ate very companionably together. She didn't want to sample mine, nor I hers.
